You can't explain it even though you are the one who started this thread. Why do you watch this nonsense? Why do you watch afternoon TV which is all garbage?

But that doesn't explain. Doing something just because others do is letting other people decide who you are.
Television is not called the "boob tube" without reason. As a medium, TV is the dumbest; it targets the dumbest. This is particularly true during daytime.
Do you know which is the customer and which is the product of TV? The audience, the people who watch, is the product which is sold to the advertisers who are the customers. That's what the Nielson ratings are for. The higher the ratings, the higher the cost. Programming is deliberately dumbed down to attract the maximum audience and, thus, boost the ratings. That's the way it works when corporate profits are the guiding light.
So, I ask again, why would anybody watch daytime TV? Why would anybody watch, or be interested in, who is invited to Chelsea's wedding? Why would anyone outside immediate family stick their noses in?
i know who i am, that is all that matters.
thus if im not suppose to post this article
please tell me and i will abide by forum rules.

Clinton turned a huge deficit into a record surplus and paid down much of the debt. He was a great president and was attacked over a private affair that had nothing to do with governing.

I betcha she and her hubby to be don't personally know over 1/2 of the people attending.
I remember arguing with my mom over the guest list, she wanted to invite all kinds of people who I had never heard of or had heard of but never met. My words to her were "if so and so is so much a part of my life, where have they been the last 25 years?" My guest list included family and close friends and no outsiders.
