All right Kay Rose!
Thought about posting this in lucky day...
Last week Roland and i went for a walk in the park where he meets with other dogs and people, he seems to like them both.
On our way back to the bike, I noticed a dark looking man sitting on a bench by the walk and hoped R would not stop as I did not think a man of his ethnic background would like the nosiness of a dog, cultural diffs & all.
But sure enough.... there he goes and would not leave the man's socks, shoes and cuffs alone, so I said something about his owning a pet and he said, as I expected - No, no pets.
Ah, but there is a dog where he is staying.....mmmhmm, da nose nos.
And then he reaches down, waaaaaay down, uno how short Roland is, and starts rubbing him an massaging him and tells me he is a registered massage therapist who is working at the new place in town. He then demos a vibrating technique on the dog's back and there he is transfixed, tongue licking the air in front of him - the dog that is.
Minded me of a time when dot did the didgeridoo thing over the back of the last dog we had and how he loved the vibrations, said to have healing effect and we talked about this, the gent and I.
So glad I stopped rather than yank the dog away from the stranger, not giving way to default wariness. The dog is generally way more sociable than I am tho there is the odd one even he shys away from.
